1. Server Data Collection and Hosting
Our website is hosted by Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg. The servers are located in the EU.
When you visit our site, various server statistics are automatically saved that your browser transmits to our provider's server. The name of the accessed website, date and time of access, city, state, and country of access, as well as the Recaptcha rating of the requesting website (for the purpose of checking its trustworthiness) are logged.
The legal basis for data collection is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. This data is not merged with other data sources. Our legitimate interest in collecting this data is based on our ability to optimize our service for users, for example, by preventing access from malicious sites or optimizing access via a specific browser.
You have a fundamental right to object to this data collection. This is not practically possible here, as otherwise, the use of the site would be impossible.
The data is deleted after 12 months.
2. Email Inquiries
If you send us an inquiry by email, we collect and store the email address and the data contained in the email to answer your inquiry.
Legal basis: If a contractual relationship develops from the inquiry as part of contract initiation or if the inquiry relates to an existing contractual relationship, the legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR, as the storage of the data is necessary for the fulfillment of a pre-contractual or contractual obligation. We also have a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR in processing the data for the purpose of communication and answering your inquiries.
The data will be deleted when the purpose of storage has ceased, i.e., after your email inquiry has been answered or when the matter associated with the inquiry has been finally clarified. In the case of an existing or subsequent contractual relationship, the data will be deleted after the statutory retention periods have expired.
3. Cookies
The internet pages use so-called cookies in several places. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure. A cookie is a piece of text information that our website places on the device you are using via the web browser. Most of the cookies we use are so-called 'session cookies.' They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit.
The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the fact that we only use the aforementioned cookies to make the site more accessible for you, do not collect any tracking data, and therefore do not interfere with your personal rights and fundamental freedoms.
These cookies are only valid for the duration of your browser session and are deleted when you leave our site.
We also use cookies from the following third-party providers:
3a. Cookie Consent Tool Usercentrics
On our website, we use the cookie consent tool from Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich.
The Usercentrics Consent Tool collects log file and consent data using JavaScript. This JavaScript makes it possible to inform the user about their consent to certain tags on our website and to obtain, manage, and document this consent.
We process the consent data or data of consent (anonymized logbook data (Consent ID, Processor ID, Controller ID), Consent Status, Timestamp), the device data or data of the devices used (including truncated IP addresses (IP v4, IP v6), device information, Timestamp) and user data (including email, ID, browser information, SettingIDs, Changelog). The stored data is used to ensure that web analysis services only collect data with your consent and to document this consent and to create and display cookie declarations for end users.
The key and the consent status are also stored in the end-user's browser in the consent cookie, so that the website can automatically read and follow the end-user's consent on all subsequent page requests and future end-user sessions for up to 12 months.
The legal basis for processing your data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) and f) GDPR, because we are legally obligated to be able to prove consent and our legitimate interest arises from the fact that this is the only way we can obtain necessary consent.
